FAQs

  • Therapy can help with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress management, relationship issues, and personal growth. It provides a safe and supportive space to explore emotions, develop coping skills, and gain insight into challenges.

  • Your first session is an opportunity to discuss your concerns, goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We will go over your history, any relevant background information, and answer any questions you may have. It is also a chance for us to determine if we are a good fit to work together. By the end of the session, we will have a plan of how to move forward in a way that best supports your needs.

  • Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of therapy varies for each individual. Some clients find relief in just a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support. We will work together to determine what feels best for you.

  • I recommend weekly sessions when beginning therapy. As progress is made, sessions may become less frequent. We will regularly assess what works best for you.

  • At this time, I primarily offer therapy via a secure video platform. Telehealth therapy offers the same level of professional care as in-person therapy but from the comfort and convenience of your own home. If you’re interested in in-person sessions in the future, feel free to ask about availability.

  • Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
